How to become a new Expert Panel member

To join the Expert Panel you need to do the following steps:

1. Create a new proposal of the “Membership Vote” type in the tab of the desired expert panel.

2. When creating a proposal, select the “Add new member” item, and specify the address of the user you want to add to the panel. This can be either your address or the address of any other user. You can also add a link to a third-party document describing why this candidate wants to be included in the selected expert panel. This is not mandatory, but it can significantly increase the chances of being added to the expert panel.

3. Then you need to check all the filled information and change something if needed. Be careful, because after this step, the proposal is put on chain and you cannot change it anymore!

4. After signing the transaction, you can see the created proposal on the tab of the expert panel. After the majority of DAO members vote, the user will become a member of the expert panel.

5. The newly elected expert will have to agree to becoming an expert, by executing the proposal.
